  
Wayne C. Farmer – Group Managing Director
Mr. Farmer has been in the region for 12 years, based at various
times in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Vietnam and is Managing Director
and a founding partner of Islemount Limited. In 2005-06, Islemount
successfully advised on USD150 million in closed deal-flow,
with transactions in the financial services, infrastructure,
airline and food services sectors, for companies in Hong Kong,
Korea, Indonesia, China and Singapore.
Prior to co-founding Islemount, Mr. Farmer was Head of Sales
and Client Services - Asia, for the Electronic Publishing Division
of the Financial Times Group, where he was responsible for sales
and client relations throughout the region, with bottom line
P&L responsibility. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Farmer served as
a Regional Sales Director for different business units of Thomson
Financial in Hong Kong and Singapore, where he concentrated
on the development of regional sales teams and the management
of large MNC accounts.
Mr. Farmer began his professional career working in the Office
of The Prime Minister of Canada as a political assistant. He
holds a BA from Queen’s University, Canada and an MBA from the
Richard Ivey School of Business School, The University of Western
Ontario.
Richard P. Neville – Managing Director
A graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada and the University
of Western Ontario, Mr. Neville has over 15 years of senior
management experience in Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand in
the fields of investment banking, fund management and consumer
brands. Prior to commencing his business career, he was an officer
in the Canadian Army where he served as a platoon commander
and operations officer in both Canada and Germany.
From 1998-2005, Mr. Neville worked as a Chief Financial Officer,
Chief Operating Officer and then Chief Investment Officer for
the Minor Group of Companies in Thailand with assets in excess
of USD 300 million across hotels, spas, shopping centres, restaurants,
retail shops, and the manufacturing of dairy and consumer household
products. These companies were thrice recognized by Forbes as
among the 200 leading companies in the world with capitalization
of under USD 1 billion. Prior to joining the Minor Group, he
worked in Southeast Asia in the fields of investment banking
and private equity management.
Mr. Neville has extensive experience in the structuring,
launch and operations of a variety of franchised and licensed
concepts in the food service, retail and hospitality sectors.
Most recently, he was active in the launch of the Pizza Company
and Swensen’s franchises across Asia including markets such
as Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia,
the Philippines, China and Cambodia.
He is a member of the Thai Institute of Directors and a Director
of Minor Holdings (Thai) Ltd., a major shareholder in Minor
International Pcl and Minor Corporation Pcl.
Alexander M. Hill – Director
Mr. Hill is a co-founder of Islemount and during his twelve
years based in Hong Kong, he developed several technology-based
information services businesses acting in a principal capacity.
As a Founding Partner and Director of Pacific Analyst Ltd from
1998 to 2003, Mr. Hill was responsible for general and financial
management, external fund raising and product development for
this Hong Kong–based electronic corporate information company
targeting research analysts and investment bankers. In addition,
Mr. Hill developed a team of industry professionals and led
them through multiple rounds of external funding. From 1996
through 1997, Mr. Hill led the development of an electronic
investor relations business within Burson-Marsteller Asia. From
1994 to 1996 while with Staunton Capital Ltd, Mr. Hill acted
to arrange equity and debt financing for public and private
companies based primarily in Hong Kong. Mr. Hill holds a B.A.
in Asian Studies from the University of Vermont and completed
post-graduate advanced Chinese (Mandarin) studies at The Stanford
Center in Taipei, Taiwan.
